Another opportunity to look beyond the borders and learn how the rest of the world looks and how the UK compares with other countries is now available through an up-to-date analysis just published. Some will see this as an opportunity to dismiss, blacklist and generally rubbish the organisation doing the research and its results, because the UK is not at the top of the list as the best/worldbeating/etc.

I've tried to wade through the figures (in the report and on their website) but I can't really see how the UK is doing or why. A proper country report would be useful.

the whole thing is a load of TROB cobras anyway, look at it, how can UK, NZ and Aus be down in the 160ths? I'll tell you it's the Right on index, or what they call "domain 5". We don't do enough for travellers, well boo hoo, what a load of unadulterated old pony. If there are 168 better places in the world for saucepans to live why is northern France full of them trying to get here?
