Baby 2 Gunshot To Head In Coma

Bearing in mind the location of this atrocity (Black and Irish community) and the fact that it is an Operation Trident investigation (Black on Black shooting) I hope the arresting officer will be of ethnic origin. For the sake of justice!!.
But where are BLM in this matter. This family had already lost a family member by shooting.
Does BLM ignore the killing of Black people if the perpetrator is one of their own?

Sounds drug related.
You seem to be implying some kind of hypocrisy. That the Black Lives Matter movement turns a blind eye if the the black life taken (or attempted to be taken) was the action of a black assailant.
That is of course rubbish. The murder by law enforcement Officers in the US is not comparable to drug gangs fight turf wars.

In London Boroughs it is more usual to find 'community leaders' mentioned in those predominantly ethnic areas like Harlesden,Lambeth,Hounslow etc. The less ethnic populated boroughs do not call their elected councellors 'community leaders'.
From experience I know that trying to get witnesses and statements when a crime has been committed in an ethnic area is like trying to extract hen's teeth.
I note the language used by the chief investigation Trident officer. He is pleading with the population to consider the age of the baby, the anguish of the parents.etc He keeps reiterating total anonymity to any witnesses or information.
This officer, knows, as well as I do it is customary for non co-operation and for that community to close ranks. He is appealing and tugging at their heartstrings.

Are our police force capable of ensuring 100% total anonymity, retro? People in those areas don't volunteer info to the police for fear that the same will happen to them and their loved ones. And no assurances from the police can persuade them otherwise, unfortunately.
What will probably happen, if it is gang related, is that those responsible for the shooting will themselves be on the 'list'.

A community leader and an elected councellor (sic) are not the same thing. Not sure what you are trying to prove.
You say the community are unhelpful to the police, but in this case, an arrest was quickly made. So either someone did talk to the police, or the police didn’t need any help.
Still not quite sure what you think you are proving.

//I think focus should be on a terrible tragic crime, rather than using this as a rod to batter BLM with//
Oh yes. A terrible crime indeed. Like the Death of Damilola Taylor just two examples of deaths in the UK. Damilola was a Nigerian lad.
BLM were never seen in Hyde Park when these kids, like many other black kids have been slaughtered en mass by members of their own community. They gather to virtue signal in Hyde Park about a alleged murder by a police officer a continent away but when they kill their own they are less vociferous. You can bet your last dollar that the officers who have to clear up the carnage and killings in this country with black on black killings and bring the perpetrators to justice are white. BLM are currently complaining, in Hyde Park, that they get no justice here from the British police.

Why should a civilian advocacy group speak out against criminals just because its members share the same skin colour? Shouldn’t it be a basic assumption that everybody agrees killing is wrong?
It’s like blaming Greenpeace for climate change, asking its activists to be accountable for hurricanes, floods and droughts even as they fight the very conditions that give rise to those problems.
It’s like asking white LGBTQ advocacy groups to be accountable for the actions of the alleged gay village serial killer Bruce McArthur.
When people ask why BLM members don’t protest Black criminality, it shows how little they understand what is being protested.
Black criminals don’t kill each other over their race. They’re killing for the same reason white criminals kill — money, power, control.

We don't see you write here much these days. I particularly noticed your absence when daily London gangland stabbings were hitting the headlines and almost endemic as covid. As a Londoner yourself I thought you might condone it but I suppose you would rather trawl Canadian newspapers to find excuses for what is happening under your nose in the UK.
