Despite people and their devotion to various patron gods,

The great issue facing each one of us, Is it rising sea levels and freak weather caused by global warming? Is it depletion of the ozone layer, leading to dangerous exposure to the sun’s harmful ultraviolet rays? Is it a population explosion, which compounds other global problems, such as poverty and crime, coronavirus pandemic? Or is it the prospect of the annihilation of untold millions in a nuclear war, with any holocaust survivors eventually dying in agony from cold, starvation, or radiation?

Oh what a load of nonsense....there is no god. There never has been a god. What there is ways to keep people under control by threatening them...... that's religion for you....offer heaven for those who are beaten into the ground, in all sorts of ways, by bosses of various descriptions. DannyK.....can't prove that there is a god of any description either so actually all this religious stuff is simply speculation.....or people hedging their bets just in case!!! Far better to be up front with your beliefs...and I have been. I am so sad that some people seem to need a crutch to help them get through life.

Goodlife, the religious of various flavours come here urging the reader to adopt their recommended way of life which, in each and every case amounts to an attempt to avoid the inevitable - death. I observe nature and it doesn’t take much to understand that everything that lives eventually dies. At 2 Peter 3:8 we are told: “One day is with Jehovah as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.

So word day can refer to a longer period of time, that saying If some one live to a 100 is God eye is what? minute.

I was a sad lonely single parent 20 odd years ago. I hung around the church hoping someone would invite me in and include me. I invited JWs into my home. I didn’t find anything.

Theland,isn't that the issue? If your God, supposedly the creator of the universe, cannot deal with Satan then he cannot be omnipotent.

If you knew the Bible, take Job 3 to see a glimpse of an invisible heavenly occurrence helps us to see the real issue as to God’s allowance of evil.

The challenging angel, known as Satan the Devil, was actually the instigator of the rebellion. Nonetheless, the first human pair, who took the side of Satan when he first set the challenge in motion, were willfully at fault, without excuse,so every one who does not worshlp the true God,worship satan.

And say at end of a week he will be remove with every one on his side, and no-one will be able to say I did not know,Matt 24:14

Also Satan fill this void, people who reject organized religion or the belief in a Creator often turn with religious passion to some substitute god. Science, politics, philosophy, and even agnosticism and atheism become their fervently Gods.
