Isnt it better to walk on barefeet when you are home?

I feed my dog on dried food pellets and before he tucks in, he nearly always brings one or two into the living room where he deposits them on the carpet for later consumption. I like to be barefooted at home but have to be quite careful where I step. The pellets are not as sharp as Lego but are almost as painful when stepped on.

If I have visitors though, I always put socks on, wouldn't want them staring at my feet all the time !! Love it when they go and I can take them off.

I always wear slippers in the house, sometimes with socks. That makes it easier when I then put shoes on to go out. I never have liked just walking in bare feet.

one artisaaaan I was 'chaperoning' actually it was the neighbour - didnt take shoes off when I did and then I realised - - he wasnt wearing socks and hadnt washed his feet for a week

I would never wear shoes indoors and never wear socks unless I have boots on in the winter. Mules stay in the hallway ready for when I come in.
