I’m fed up with people knocking this great country of ours so in the spirit of patriotism I reckon it’s time to fly the flag on all public buildings, schools included, and anywhere else people would like to fly it. I’m searching for a flag pole and someone to install it in my garden as I type. What say you?
Thats terrible, the sheltered accommodation where my parents live, its called housing 24, allow the residents to plant and grow stuff and the gardens look lovely.
I don't have a Union flag, but have seen a few dotted around where I live. I do have St George flag which gets flown when a Major Football tournament is on.
I have a union flag on a tea towel. It would flutter from a stick in one of your planters emmie if you wish.
I'm to scared to put ne out down here. I could get lynched or at least ostracised. Only ever see the county flag.
thanks LJ. I am having a look at local post office as they do all sorts of tourists thing, Union Flags aplenty. It can't be very big as i said it wouldn't fit on balcony but in one of the pots can see it fluttering away, not literally, lol
Sunk - St Pirans flag is very visible down here - pubs, restaurants, private houses, public libraries, public halls, shops. I am sure some of them are the wrong size and the wrong height but who is going to complain.
