There has been talk in the press lately about him having lied on his visa form to gain entry to the USA, could he be stopped from re entering after the coronation?

Spot on Mozz.
The ginger and whinger could of both attended and left Archie with his nanny and waffle maker lest he got bored.
I am trying to remember where I read that the date of the Trooping of the Colour, June 17, played some part in the decision for the coronation to be on May 6
I can only reiterate - the first thing the Palace staff would do, before anything else is check that the date was OK with the King and Queen Consort.

I cannot imagine any major detail like that would not have been advised to them from day one.
Can't wait to see who gets BA out of, at the moment, 465 answers. fourteen85 are you going to pop in and have a look?
Firstly, the king and queen wouldn’t know if the date was ok - their staff would -
and secondly Archie’s
birthday is not a major detail. When a momentous day in British history is being organised a birthday is an irrelevance.
Birth days matter.
I think so, I think the royals would as well.

The birthday fell at a convenient time for everyone - a chance to avoid any more grief than there was already.
Andy did you see my post at 17.20pm?
I'm pretty sure the King and Queen would not know what arrangements had been made for Archies birthday and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have bothered to ask.
Anyway, that isn't the reason for her not coming, so it's of little consequence really.
Harry has unloaded tons of bile on the RF.

Charles is hoping to build bridges.

So let's 'forget' his eldest child's birthday, that'll do it.

Seriously?
He might not have forgotten it, sent a gift etc without trumpeting it to the press
Rosette, he doesn't have to 'trumpet it' to the press, he's the King, they know every single thing he does.
I can't figure out how you can put a child's 4th birthday on par with a King's Coronation, and as someone else said earlier, there would be a lot of more important reasons to go for that date.
I did read that Charles wanted to actually be king before the State Opening of Parliament but like everything else, we can either choose to believe that or not.
I've not even read any comments from Harry or Meghan about it being on their son's birthday.
Sorry Andy but I do think you are wrong on this so we must agree to disagree.
Gosh! All this going on. I've just read pages of this thread. Apropos of nothing....
It's my granddaughter's birthday tomorrow. We've sent a card and present, but she lives 50 miles away so it'll be a couple of weeks before we get to see her.
AH, you are doing again what you criticised others for, namely stating fact when its your opinion. You cannot possibly know that the press know absolutely everything about what the King does
Jourdain when my husband and I separated over 20 yrs ago, he moved down South while I stayed in the North.
We had no grandchildren at that time but we now have 5.
He usually comes up for Christmas but there's no way he would come up for 5 children's birthdays so some of them don't get to see their Granddad on their birthday and some do.
It's just the way things sometimes are.

Isn't it odd how everyone seems to know everything about the Royal Family?
Except me 10c.
And me!
