There has been talk in the press lately about him having lied on his visa form to gain entry to the USA, could he be stopped from re entering after the coronation?

When i think about it, I do try and qualify the difference between what I am stating as a fact, and what I believe based on what I have heard or read - I use phrases like "In my view ..." or, "My perception is ..." or "I believe that ..." and similar.
If anyone challenges me for appearing to be offering an opinion as a fact, I will instantly qualify my position, because I don;t want to appear to be acting as an apparent insider with knowledge only I on the AB can possess.
Others, as this thread have shown, are not as willing to concede that their expression of their opinion is presented as fact, when it clearly cannot be, and take a large amount of convincing before grudgingly conceding, probably to carry on doing the same tomorrow.

retrocop - // //You have no idea which Mods delete which threads, or for what reason, because that is known only to the Ed and team.//
That's why I didn't name any . But it wouldn't of been naomi 2 years ago would it? //
You can't name any, because you don't know which Mod is deleting anything.
Which part of that don't you understand?

I've been waiting for this. From Mozz
//I have to disagree with that Lottie. I'd take my kid's birthday over any other social event, especially one said kid wasn't invited to. Surely Charles knew that the proposed coronation date clashed with Archie's birthday and could've moved it accordingly. Maybe he wanted to give Harry a viable excuse not to attend?//
Comparisons nearly always make me laugh as this one has done.
Mozz, can you not see that if you did this, it would not go down in history?
How do you think people will feel when they read in the history books that the King's daughter-in-law didn't attend his Coronation because it was the 4th birthday of her son?
Do you really think that King Charles would go to the organizers of this event and say,' Sorry chaps, we can't do that day as it's my Grandsons 4th birthday?'
Get real.

He wouldn't need to, for two reasons -
The King would be consulted about the Coronation from Day One, including the proposed date, and if he didn't want that date, it would be changed before any arrangements started being confirmed.
Secondly, it is precisely because the date fell on his grandson's birthday that the date was chosen - it gave Meaghan certainly, and Harry possibly, an excuse not to attend, which was in the interests of everyone involved.

At the risk of sounding like a cracked record, you have no idea what 'a certain Mod' would or indeed would not do, because you don;t know what any of their actions are, or would be, because you don't know when they delete anything.
So you have no idea what a 'certain Mod' would do.
Hope that clears things up.

Andy //Secondly, it is precisely because the date fell on his grandson's birthday that the date was chosen //
Do you really believe that?
I would have thought that date was chosen because it was convenient for hundreds of guests that were invited.
By the way, did you read that there was no party and that Meghan was out hiking with a few friends of hers?

we are all guilty of saying something which sounds categorical when it is actually opinion---

//Otherwise they may get challenged to prove said facts and look a bit daft when they cant.//
Especially when google is always at your fingertips. I recall Andy Hughes stating as fact that the British owned more mobile phones than any one else in the world. A quick google proved that was totally untrue. He was daft to say that and when challenged and proved wrong it was deleted.
