Despite asking for examples of my racist post(s), as yet no-one has given a single example, not even ynnafymmi.
In one of my recent post I wrote ‘Britain’s involvement in the slave trade is certainly a shameful part of our history......certainly we should offer an unreserved apology for our involvement in the slave trade.’
I doubt many racists would agree with this; in fact one ABer (presumably not a racist) rubbished the above.
I’m thinking of offering a prize to anyone who can produce a racist post from me.

The rationale of that is: we historians KNOW that judging a historical event by todays standards is NOT what we do, nor should do.
so we dont look on slavery in Christ's time as shameful, nor that one of the first companions of the Prophet (PBUH) was a slave. In fact at the time, it was used as a recruiting slogan, you can be a slave and STILL convert to Islam.
but we really always knew that innit?
