NB for the pedants and nit pickers there may be exceptions to the suggestions below, I will mention them if I think about them, if I do not that just means I cannot think of an exception. This list is by no means exhaustive. You may note that many of the suggestions apply to any religion. Feel free to add your own suggestions.
1. Automatic rejection of any immigrant or asylum seeker that is Muslim.
2. No accommodation for the rituals or demands of any religion in schools. Religious education as a subject is allowed but must cover all main religions. All current religious schools to be converted or closed down.
3. No provision for any religion in the work place and no practicing the rituals of any religion. Employers can instantly dismiss any transgression.
4. Any extreme preaching (current UK definition) will result in instant arrest and internment until trial. If guilty 10 years to life no remission.
5. No Hijab or burka, full face coverings allowed in public.
6. No preaching except within the building designated for the purpose of the religion.
7. The production and supply of Halaal and Kosher meat would be illegal. Both Islam and Judaism have provision in their scriptures for this.
8. No religious “courts” , “councils” or other pseudo bodies to be allowed.
9. Local authorities and government generally are barred from any sort of special religious provision.
10. Any Islamic TV or radio channel must be closed down, any transgression should be treated as in 4.
11. Demonstrations are allowed but any extremist talk or placard will be treated as in 4.
12. Close down any jihadist web sites, blogs, Videos and prosecute those responsible where possible as in 4.
13. Block Imams access to any place of education, prisons, forces etc
14. Any attempt at implementing anything from sharia law to be prosecuted as in 4.
15. Allow no new mosques unless an old mosque is decommissioned. The total number of mosques to not exceed what it is now.
The issue appears to be at least one contributor who, on another day, would vociferously defend democracy in action, now refers to the result of that process as being the actions of, quote, 'useful idiots'.
But that's the problem with a fair and reasonable electoral system, sometimes it gives results that you don't like.
I hear no mention of the 'non-useful idiot' non-Muslim majorities in all these cities, who utter indifference to exercising their democratic right to vote allowed Muslim mayor's to be elected under the democratic process.
If you don't vote, don't moan, and.if your fellow white Anglo-Saxon citizens don't vote, then you know where to place the blame.
And where the epithet 'idiot' actually belongs.
Clue - it's not with voters who enjoy the responsibility of a vote, given that it's a novelty they don't enjoy in their countries of origin, rather than complacent natives, who prefer to shrug their shoulders and.moan that 'They're all the same ...' because they take their freedoms for granted in a way that newcomers do not.
There was a pub near my house called 'The Odd Fellows' *.
It ceased being a pub, and was bought and is now a Mosque. I see its atendees and joke to myself that it is now full of really odd fellows 😀.
* The name 'Odd Fellows' was a catch all name for the rest of us who did not have a popular trade. ie, not the Butchers Arms, the Masons Arms, Bakers Vaults or Bricklayers Arms.
Manchester had its own Oddfellows, didn't it?

23:49 AH: "I hear no mention of the 'non-useful idiot' non-Muslim majorities in all these cities, who utter indifference to exercising their democratic right to vote allowed Muslim mayor's to be elected under the democratic process. " - That is an excellent point and It's part of what I mean when I say measures need to be taken, if only to wake people up to the idea that traditionally anti democracy Islam is legitimately using democracy to attain positions of power. The "useful idiots" mentioned above may well be assisting by voting for them but the biggest assistance is comming from the non muslim majorities in these cities not voting at all.
The Oddfellows is a pub just round the corner from here, on the corner of Oldham Rd and Hanson St. A friend of mine used to be a member of the Oddfellows. There used to be an Oddfellows Club in Royton, Oldham. Off topic, I know! I know!
However, the Islamification of this country has already started. It will happen. A long way into the future, but it will happen.
10 Clarion - // However, the Islamification of this country has already started. It will happen. A long way into the future, but it will happen. //
The more I read and hear about the 'Islamification of this country. the more I am reminded of the Mccarthy witchunts of the 1950's, and the obsession with 'reds uunder the bed'.
The obsession with the 'spread' of Communism reached its nadir with the Viet Nam War. Hundreds of thousands of soliders and civilians died, billions of dollars were spent, and for what? They lost the war, the much vaunted 'spread' never happened.
And that same paranoid thinking in a much smaller scale is infecting our nation's thinking - the idea that something must want to subjugate us and take us over, destroying our way of life.
Let's be honest, if Islam did want to take over, they lack neither the numbers of the intent, were it to be there, but in my view, it is not.
It is mischief-making by politica; and media interests who want us to believe that we are 'threatened by invaders' when I see no evidence of it at all - and I speak as someone who lives in a city with a very large and long-established Muslim community.
Ironically, it is the West that is determined to enforce its cultural domminance on other nations - Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, and so on, rather than the other way around - without success, but it doesn't stop them trying.
We should adopt a sense of realism, and be attempting to integrate with other nations and faiths with whom we share the planet, instead of itching to be paranoid, so we can 'fight back' against an 'enemy' that does not really appear to exist.
Cue the usual responses about me being naive / a 'sympethiser', / blind to reality etc etc, I've heard it all before, and it makes no odds, because nothing has, or probably will, significantly change.
Unless we lose or rampant xenophobia and start accepting that other people don't have to live as we do, and we have no right to force them, as long as their coexistence does not directly impact on indiginous populations.
naomi - // I read and weep. Our complacency makes it a simple matter to unthinkingly relinquish what we have but the legacy we leave our descendants will be their fate - and they won't thank us for it. //
As expected, you are first out of the blocks with your imagainary future, framed in your usual condecension.
I think we can leave out exchange there.
naomi - // Andy Hughes, my post wasn't addressed to you. My 'exchange' was an observation for anyone who cares to read it. //
Since your post immediately follows mine, it is not unreasonable for me to assume that your post was a reply to mine.
However, I see that your superior condecention and cyber-tutting and 'weeping' encompases anyone who does not entirely embrace your pessimistic and fundamentally baseless view of the future.
brainiac - // You are joking, aren't you? It's a central tenet of Islam that it should be imposed on everyone - that's what they want: a worldwide caliphate. Open your eyes. //
Open yours.
And explain what you actually see, as opposed to what your media-and politician fed paranoia tells you that you can see.
