In Trump’s eyes, a claim that America’s legal system is functioning properly is a de facto critique of him - and to criticise him risks alienating both the former president and his sizable base of supporters within the party.
A Vote for Trump is a vote against America's legal system.
Trump paid a lawyer to keep a prostitute quiet to help him win the 2016 election. That has been established as true by 12 jurors as true. That's election interference, a felony. But people would rather vote for somebody that would do that, rather than voting for anybody else or nothing at all. That's a sorry state of affairs.
My cousin and his wife live in the States. They are really wealthy, believe me, and they are avid Trump supporters. Why? Because, according to them, he is accurate in what he says about the USA. They believe all the conspiracy stuff because, they say, Trump speaks the truth and so all his opponents will do anything to get rid of him.
If I was eligible to vote, I would vote for The Donald, - deffo.
This disgraceful trial has done a great disservice to the USA, making their law apparatus a laughing stock, and is producing the exact opposite of what his detractors hoped for.
His support in the light of this injustice increases exponentially with each degree of unfairness.
