Mrs JtH proudly served in HM Armed Forces and sees absolutely no good reason why there should be any additions to the standard red poppy.
Everyone who served in conflict regardless of race, gender and sexuality is represented by the traditional red poppy although I understand that that fully paper version is more environmentally friendly than the plastic stem and centre 'pip'.
The need for Diversity-anythings is a modern plague on institutions and the sooner they are done away with, the better!
I used to bun the RL £2/300 a year, gave up last year and found a better way of getting my money to the people that need it.
As for the mriad of poppys that is just devisive. The standard red poppy includes all so why feel the need to separate yourslef from it. It's almost like some feel they are too good to be all inclusive. Well fine, but not on my dime.
