- come on girls what are your thoughts - you too myles76 - i think your great!!!
And I just want to say major hats off to myles76.
Have any of you been reading his threads on which engagement ring to buy his girlfriend and then, followed up by how he went about getting it, then surprising his gf on a pre-booked holiday and then learning to fly a hot air balloon for her!!! I mean come on, is this just the most perfect guy or what? Is he real? Are all guys this romantic?
I thought this sort of old fashioned love was dead I'm from Japan and we don't have guys like this. Is it something that English guys do? Is this how they are, are they all this romantic?
Please tell me girls is it just me or is this man just the best at romance. I so hope that he's good looking too (being Italian/Irish I'm sure he is) and sounds like he has a good job as well. I have this impression and imagination of Heathcliffe coming off the mores, smelling f heather to propose to his beloved one. (sorry, too much Wuthering heights). But its almost like the man with no face where you just dream and hope its all going to happen to you, and then he arives in your arms (and hopefully your bed!!).
All I can say is wow wow wow myles76, if all goes wrong and you like a little oriental I'll be free for you any time!!!!! Please tell us more about yourself I long to find out more.

I have never come across another person who has gone to such lengths to demonstrate their love for another person. It's all so perfectly romantic and has been a joy to follow. What are all you other guys going to do now that myles76 has set the benchmark so exceptionally high?!!!
A massive 'BIG UP' to myles and may your lifetime with Mrs myles be equally as magical. She's a very lucky lady indeed.
Well girls, I can certainly say that I AM the luckiest woman in the world.
Hi, Im Emma the one youve all been reading about over the last few weeks.
It was so romantic; hes absolutely swept me off my feet with this. Thinking about it, hes always been the same from the first day I met him and I knew I had to hold onto him no matter what. And thinking back at some of the other silly, romantic stuff hes done in the past, learning to fly a hot-air balloon in order to propose to me is just the tip of the ice berg.
He once flew home from Sydney so he could surprise me and be with me on birthday, only to turn around the following day and fly back again (he was out there on a 2 week work meeting).
In my eyes he really is wonderful (and good looking) and I am the luckiest girl ever to be spending my life with him. And all our family members and friends get on great too which really helps.
Id also just like to give over my thanks to you all too. He showed me this site last night (I never knew it existed) and all your comments. Thank you so much for all your congratulations and yes, the ring is absolutely perfect and just like myles to pick a great and unusual one. What I thought was equally as nice was that he involved my three best friends in the whole thing too.
What an impact he has had on you all - i'd really better keep my eye on him now!! :-)
So guess my question is How do you start planning a wedding?!
