Help!!

As part of my best man's speech, I am making booklets of photos from the groom's past which will tie in well with my speech. Anyone have any ideas as to how would be the best method of producing these. I'm reproducing photos from well before digital cameras, so no jpeg files or anything like that. How much do developing places charge for copying photographs?? Would it be worthwhile to visit a specialist printers? Or would it cost the earth? I'm looking at 8-10 photos reproduced about 15 times. Thanks for any help on this!!!

You could try Boots. I do know that some time ago it was possible to have any old photo reproduced without the negative. If that's the case, then it's no different than them profesionally scanning it for you.
Bear in mind that the process is only once; so you are looking at 8 - 10 pictures processed once then simply copied to make up the numbers of each copy you require.
A scanner is a good option, but also bear in mind that there are both good and bad picture scanners; in short, you get what you pay for. Having it done profesionally you can be sure of the best possible conversion to digital. Cost and affordability will be, of course, the facter in what you decide should the service be available.
I hope that helps and I think you might find they will still do that service.
