I adore the N Irish accent and any Scottish accent (tee hee)

Dont like the Essex accent..

On foreign soil -sorry I know that wasnt part of the Q;

Love the NY accent

Dont like the Aussie accent (seems a bit whiny to me)

I think there is a general misconstruing of the brummie accent, most people say they hate it but the evidence is based on hearing very bad impressionists impersonating a very exaggerated black country accent.

I come from birmingham and it really isnt all that monotoned or as simple sounding as most people believe.

"TV brummies" are not nomally from the area and whilst a midland accent may seem grating (a proper midland accent as opposed to exaggerated impression of a black country (near birmingham) accent)

and why do all these impersonaters speak so slowly?!
I don't have a favourite accent, I'm just happy to listen to anybody who can speak decent English nowadays.

And before you knock the S.African accent just remember there's more than one. I presume you are referring to the people whose home language is Afrikaans ( derived from Dutch ) not English speaking residents who actually speak clearer English than some in this Country.
Best - a gentle, lilting Scottish or Irish accent (nothing too broad).

Worst - Scouse (too whiny) and that curious Estuary/gangsta rapper/Tim Westwood hybrid so popular with chavs - innit blud.
French
Chinese
Love the irish --- to be sure - so it is

Least favourite - dont know

Favourite accent : A soft Welsh accent, a la Richard
Burton.

Worst : Glaswegian
best-scouse
worst-birmingham
Welsh the best!

Any accent that makes people sound stupid i.e. people who say boffered in stead of bothered! Usually hear it in Londoner accents!
Worst - whiney Geordie like the Big Brother commentator - I stopped watching to avoid his dreadful voice! (Geordie can be great)
Best - hard to choose, I enjoy regional accents like Norfolk and Devon, they sound like the summer. But I think it has to be English spoken as a second language by an island Scot. Dreamy!
