Statue of liberty tickets

We booked and paid for statue of liberty and ellis island tickets on line last night and it said we would be sent our tickets by e-mail, as yet we have not received anything but the payment has been taken from my bank account, has anyone booked these tickets and if so did you have to wait long for the tickets? It doesnt say on the site if they are sent straight away or not so dont know if I am worrying for nothing, any advice or comments would be appreciated T I A

we've booked tickets for Disneyland etc.. online and it was a week as far as I can remember, before we got anything. It was Saturday yesterday and a non working day today, so I wouldn't worry about it yet.

I booked on line and direct with the company that run the ferries to Liberty and Ellis Islands.
I, like you, did not receive an email, I waited a couple of days and then rang them to query it.
They found the booking an confirmed that the booking had been made, but no email sent. They sent it on straight away - no problem.

They said to me that they had been having 'problems' with the system not automatically sending out tickets - I'm sure they'll tell you the same thing!!!

Don't be worried about being ripped off, they were helpful and friendly when I called!

Have a fab time - we really enjoyed it!!
