This thread is in memory of the greatest american singer..
Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 June 25, 2009)
To read about his life, you will find everything on this link

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Jackson

There is a programme on ITV1 right now,began 9pm.
It is showing Michael Jackson's Story history.
There are a quite number of songs which I like very much.
Despite his eccentricity, and weirdness, and the controversial affair about his reported child abuse,he still has my respect for his great songs.
This is one of my favourite songs by him.
Please enjoy this thread, and the songs that I will provide for you.
I have just heard a news report about whether his medication had something to do with his death....who knows!! Only the post mortem will tell us.....
Any further coments will be greatly acknowledged.
Thanks guys!

Fair enough Panic.
Everyone has their own opinion, and I will respect you for that.
Thanks all the same...
:-)
It's been the strangest of days imhotep, I've personally felt very sad about his passing all day and having read some of the amazing tributes it makes you realise just how well he was respected and admired by his peers in the business they call show.
Where I've been today I didn't hear anyone backing up your views.
Well that sums you up hawkes dont it?

You like peados and trolls

these are 2 that I like, but in all honesty I loved all his music. Its so sad he has passed.
biggest turn off of all time, don't do kiddie fiddlers!
The first link is my favourite MJ song

I went to see him when I was younger - he was a great performer and will be missed for what he could have contributed to music in the future.

Such a waste of a life
Question Author
It's not about what he has done about the child abuse affair.
I know all about that.I must admit,he did have a kind of feminimity about him,and he liked children a lot.
He was accused of child abuse, and as you know,it was an out of court settlement.

But........I'm more interested in the songs that he made for all his fans.So I will have no more say on the matter.
Sorry,but on with the show....
I'm fine Mrs C.I won 14 on a scratchcard earlier.
Man in the mirror...that's a nice song .
Here is another I really like....an environmental friendly one

My personal favourite was Billie Jean.

At my sister-in-law's funeral I had played 'Smile' sang by Michael Jackson - nobody realised it was him singing this and there was'nt a dry eye in the chapel.

Why is it when someone in the public eye dies, some feel the need to spout nasty remarks. Putting aside what he did or did'nt do, I for one loved his music.

Has anyone got the album Thriller album on vinyl record like I have??
My Thriller album is in very good condition, and I haven't listened to it for a while now.But having heard about his death,I might get it out and have a listen to it.
His 1982 Thriller is said to be the best-selling pop album of all time with estimated world-wide sales of upwards of 120 million copies. Now that is something of an achievement!!

Interesting link dr b.....

Dirty diana and Bille Jean are good songs abbey..
Well, everyone has their own opinion Prudentia.
Billy Jean is my favourite too, when we were on holiday in Cuba my daughter had taken some cassettes with her. we went on a day trip on a catamaran and she took them with her. the Cuban crew were over the moon with her music and asked to play them over the catamarana PA system. I was using my camcorder on the return sail back to the resort and i filmed my daughter standing against the catamaran side rails in her bikini and straw cowboy hat, smoking a cigarette, dancing to Billy Jean played full blast, and a school of dolphins that she was oblivious to were leaping across the waves behind her as we raced across the blue caribbean see, it was only when we got home and put the film on the big TV we realised what a stunning effect the whole scene was! Especially when she flicked the gig butt into the caribbean, spotted the dolphins and mouthed WTF!!!

totally agree imhotep.
He was a complete master and one of the greats, the doctors absence is very suspicious, I thought the documentary was fab. I believe MJ will be remembered for his dance and music for many many years to come!
