Wolf63 - You really have me thinking. Short, sharp, sweeping statements are dangerous (I mean that in a light-hearted way) It's the last one - 'Life is hard then you die.'?
I have an issue accepting that one because I don't think life is hard, its what a person makes of life that determines whether their life is hard or not?
Jason raises God and the Haitians. Ultraman hits upon this as well in his second to last sentence. I don't know if you watched the Tsumani doc about God on tele afew weeks ago? One Woman's story particular stands out for me. She was on the beach standing at the place her former house was, talking about her only 2 children who had been killed by the Tsumani and she said that she had to believe through her belief in Karma that her children had been 'bad' in their past life that they were taken in this way and if she didn't believe that, she could never move on or accept them gone as they were ectopic pregnancies and she couldn't have anymore children.
As a mother I was shocked that she could think of her kids as such, as a human being I understood. Life is what you make it, not what the circumstances make it?
