What attracts you - question, category, or user-name?

Not quite sure where to post this, but here goes.

Since the recent changes to AB, a few people (me included) have said that the orange coloured question titles displayed in the 'latest posts' box on the right are now less easy to spot, and that got me thinking.

What encourages you to read, and possibly answer a question? The question itself, the category, or the last user-name displayed in the grey box?

I look at the question first, but if I see the name of someone who usually has something interesting to say, I'll have a look even if the question and category don't really appeal to me.

Regarding Keyplus' answer to this question, I gained the distinct impression that he avoids what he sees as trouble makers at all costs. Well, he responded to this question, so that's me off the hook then! :o)

I hardly ever look at the latest posts. I just keep revisiting my usual categories and checking for interesting questions. If there's nothing much going on, I'll start trawling through the other categories.

Nadis, I've just realised you were the 'newcomer' who was deliberately argumentative on another thread a while back - and you gave the distinct impression that you didn't know Wiz and Keyplus, and you actually said you didn't know me. How very curious!

I'm new to AB but what attracts me to a question is the category that it's in. Some categories I know more about than others so of course I'm going to read more questions from the ones that I do know more information about.

You are absolutely right naomi24. I do not 'really' know any of you, nor you I and as far as being argumentative, Yes that was a solitary occasion and I am only human. If I offended you or anyone during that time I am eternally sorry.
If you do know me ,I think it is only from on this site and I seem to remember having some fun and I also remember someone basically telling me to shut-up when I tried to answer a question without any provocation from me-so I became angry. This may have been the reason for my outburst unless you know a different reason?

Nadis, I know of no reason you should feel justified in behaving the way you have behaved - and that wasn't a solitary occasion. This started for no good reason when you were still Luna. If you have a problem, don't take it out on people who have done you no harm - grow up and deal with it. Your apologies mean nothing. .I've heard it all before.

I tend to lurk around the 'latest posts' department, and if a favourite poster (ie, sara, WBA, Bobjugs, Beejay) has answered, I do happen to take a look just to be nosey.. but then that's me all over.. noseyness...!!

Naomi24, I did not justify it. I was not attacking anyone when I put my post on here. I said I am sorry but you will not accept that and it seems that you do not really want me to enter into any conversation, debate or other on here without saying I have done you harm. Okay, yes I said things that were wrong, argumentative, and were uncalled for. I admit that, whether justified or not but you do not wish me to be part of anything on here anymore because anytime I try to, it ends up in argument. I didn't say anything to provoke you this time but.................oh what's the point!
How would you like me to deal with it?
