Frankie Boyle is hilarious. Prove me wrong.

There has been a lot of guff spewed in recent days on the subject of Frankie Boyle and how he is unfunny and racist. I'm not saying that Tramadol Nights was funny, it wasn't great. However, on Mock The Week and in his stand up routines he is hilarious. Also I don't see how using the packing and niggling words a couple of times makes you a racist.
Can anyone show me how he is not funny using an example or two, perhaps a clip from youtube. I think you will find it difficult to find something that is not funny. Yes, I know that humour is subjective but I would still like to see what other people find that proves that Frankie is not funny.

I make no apologies for finding FB funny - I am 40 (is that the age group you were referring to?), I don't consider myself stupid (if that's what you mean by intellectual level), I am neither uneducated or a yob, and as for having "a distorted view of what is genuinely funny", I repeat - humour is subjective.
As sure as eggs are eggs you will find some people funny that I do not. That does not make them unfunny per se, it merely means that I don't find them funny.

why do so many people refuse to accept that their opinion on what is funny and what is not is just that, and only that...an opinion...
opinion is not fact, law, correct, the best etc etc...
some people get so arrogant twhen it comes to their opinions on humour, music films etc...they stupidly believe that anyone that doesnt agree with them is just plain wrong or stupid...and some actually get angry about the fact that people like somehting they dont
now that is funny, eh?

And therein lies the who crux of the argument Dave.
I love Curb your Enthusiasm, Family Guy, The Cleveland Show, Fawlty Towers, Extras, The Office (both the UK and US versions), Gavin & Stacey, Peep Show, Nighty Night, Black Books, The IT Crowd, The Inbetweeners.......I could go on, but there will be loads of people on this thread who think some or all of them are complete diatribe.
Wich is why I'm constantly amazed why some people so quick to have a pop at other other people just becuase they don't share the same sense of humour (they know who they are).
I'm sure some people love Last of the Summer Wine or The Life of Riley, but I'd never criticise their sense of humour (although I may wonder to myself whether they have a sense of humour!!!)

I think Chatterbank is probably divided 3-ways;
1. Anything/most things that FB says are funny.
2. Nothing/few things FB says are funny.
3. FB says funny things combined with startling crass things............
His 'general' humour has made me laugh but often his choice of subject matter makes me downright uncomfortable.
I simply believe that in terms of 'broadcast TV' there should be certain lines drawn.
