For at least the last 2 nights the presenter in Japan has been wearing a coat with the 'Berghaus' logo prominently on display.
A food mixer on 'This Morning' placed in the background of the set warrants a warning but not this. Why?

I think it's mostly due to practicality reasons. For example, watching Eastenders, in the corner shop you will notice the shelves filled with real branded items. It's far easier then making up fake products, etc.
