I guess a Christian would say God invented dinosaur son the third day (or whichever it was). No special reason why it should be practice, or a mistake either, just because they died out. Making dodos wasn't a mistake, it's just that humans killed them all.
they weren't hit by meteorites as such, they apparently suffered from meteorite-induced climate change. We may do the same some day. If no meteorite turns up to do it, we may have to change the climate ourselves.
well, it depends on how you look at it. It may turn out on Judgment Day that we were in fact created by the Wasp God to give his chosen people something to play with.
The dinosaurs did rather well for around 165 million years. Man has been around for (very roughly) for ¼ million years, during which he's done a great deal towards his own self-destruction and (despite the advances of evolution) still has his most sensitive parts hanging outside his body, where they're prone to injury.
I am a Christian but I don't go to church very often. According to some people for the purpose of the Census (this weekend) you are supposed to be churchgoing to call yourself religious. Load of codswallop.
