Just a thought on the recent influx of theists.

I have noticed the recent influx of theists here, not surprising considering the category but unusual all the same.
I float around many parts of the Internet that have a majority of Atheist users and have noticed many former Theists "coming out" to family and friends. Most of them seem to live in the USA and have faced a lot of persecution for their decision.
Some of them (younger atheists) have been kicked out of the family home and a few have even suffered death threats and condemnation to hell.
Question 1 to theists: Can you justify someone telling a child to leave the family home for not following your religion?
Q2: There are many religions and variations of those religions, what in your eyes makes yours the correct choice?
For everyone. I was wondering if the recent posts by theists are a way to combat this change and also if AB's change to a US server has facilitated this somehow?

Personally, I think that the Ed needs to consider some affirmative action against them as they risk devaluing a valuable thread. I have no objection to any Theist putting forward their own uestions and thoughts, but this incessant cutting and pasting from the JW Watchtower and its kind that we are now seeing....it ought to be stamped on

yes, Elderman after an insult and I have contacted Ed and Chuckfickens over my concerns here..... I know it goes across free speech etc, but is what they are attempting to do free speech? - and then look at the sequence of events as a process, boxie.
It would be interesting to hear others views to feed into the Ed - and, ultimately, as we all know, it his decision, his site.

dabees and bopxtops, children can be thrown out for many reasons, as I said; if they're old enough to vote and to work, they're old enough to find a home of their own. It's up to the parents: their house, their rules.
I was never obliged to eject jno jnr, but a friend of mine has kids at home (in their 20s) who most certainly should be thrown out, for being idle layabouts, and I wouldn't throw up my hands in horror if she did. So why would I do so if it was because of religious disagreements?
(Obviously I'm talking about kids who are of age in one way or another, not 12-year-olds.)
