Afternoon.
We've noticed it's got a bit "rough" in here recently.
We'd like this section to be accessible to all without fear of being "ambushed" by members who simply disagree with them.
Please remember calling someone an idiot (or similar) is very unlikely to aid the changing of their perspective.
We're not asking you to change what you say - we're asking you to change the way you say it.
In other news: we now have a small "welcome box" between the "enter a question" box and the questions below. Suggestions welcome for things we could pop in there.
All the best,
Ed

Pitchforks and rock throwing are not nice, but hurling a custard pie, although uncomortable, makes for entertainment.
My shirts are full of custard stains by the way.

Custards last stand . . . or perhaps custurd is a more appropriate spelling in this case?
Never could resist a good 'food fight' then could you Theland? :o)

Ed, I’m a bit confused here. I know you say you can’t read everything – and of course you can’t – but if you’ve had reports about Birdie, why didn’t you remove the offending posts once they were brought to your attention?
Also, you accuse Birdie of leading ‘rabble’, so how does that equate to your request here for civility? Or do you not believe in leading by example?

Granted. but it is so hard to find an opportunity for a custard pie moment in your answers, so I had to nit-pick.
You have to admit; the humble custard pie has raised more laughs in the past than much of the foul mouthed so-called humour that is around now.

Never in the field of religious debate, was so much custard, thrown by so many, at so few.
I remember well the night parties in the wine cellar of Nims thirteenth floor multi story flat, hiding the cellar keys inside my knitted thong, and daring the Starman to retrieve them, which he did ..... with his teeth!
Ah what a Revival it was. The good ole days of yore ..... and mine.
