I would not dream of cheating anyone and would rather give than receive. But I know that I have told lies in the past and I cannot believe that you can go through life without telling a few.
An honest person would be truthful and not commit fraud. Honesty requires you to be fair in dealing with others—straightforward, honorable, not deceptive or misleading. An honest person is a man of integrity. Being always trustworthy, he will never on cheat his fellowman.
There are many ways—though often viewed as innocent and acceptable—in which people do not speak truth.
Being honest also eliminates the fear of being caught in wrongdoing.

//So be honest with us then and quote which part of the Watchtower you dug this piece of garbage out of - lack of original thought yet again - yawn //
You spend so much of your time googling words & phrases in an attempt to try to prove people can't use their own initiative - You find it!!
Not every post is copy & paste as you seem to think.
Now see if you can find this in copy & paste!
Maybe you should humble yourself a little and stop being so arrogant! Because that is what you are - a very arrogant, haughty and supercilious person and one I do wish to know.

I thought I had answered it.
//Wildwood@ //Is telling people to accept what is written in the bible is truth when it is not, honest?//
As you don't believe the Bible then it is not applicable to you. Just because it is of no use to you doesn't mean that it isn't for others. //
Everyone has a choice in life. For those who believe in God the Bible is truth. For those who prefer to believe in evolution then obviously it is not truth.
I believe the Bible is truth - If I thought it wasn't then I wouldn't tell people about it. I am not doing this for any gain I have other things I could do with my time. It is because I have a love for God and a hope for the future I want others to know about it. As already said, they have a choice, to listen or not. To believe or not. To accept or not.
Truthabounds Wildwood’s question is simple and direct and requires a simple ‘yes’ or ‘no’ response – but you’ve deliberately avoided giving either. There can only be one reason for that – because to answer it honestly would mean you concede that some of what is written isn’t true. Sneaky – but not sneaky enough. Question answered. Truth most definitely does not abound with you. MTH!
We're not talking about the word of God - we're talking about the bible - and even you, with your superstitious hang-ups, must know much of that cannot possibly be true.
Naomi@ You poor deluded woman! The Bible is the word of God. I have no superstitious hang ups. I don't believe in superstition. And yes, I believe every word that is written in the Bible. As I have said before and I say it again - every one has a choice whether to believe or not.
Truthabounds, you believe every word that is written in the bible? How is that possible when it is so contradictory? You must be meeting yourself coming back! And I'm deluded? ;o)
It's actually very sad that you know you have a choice, and yet choose demonstrable nonsense over rationality.
Truthabounds, //Contrary to your belief, it is not contradictory. I have made my choice rationally//
In that case I fear for your rationality. Unlike you, I don't work on 'belief' because that allows rationality to be overridden. I work on evidence. 'Belief' that the bible is without fault is irrational, as recent discussions here on Noah's Ark confirm. You can deceive yourself, but that doesn’t make you right – and it certainly doesn’t make you rational.
