Just thinking of the homeless people tonight in the bitterly cold everywhere lying in cardboard boxes - none of their fault - just circumstances of their lives and no, not all druggies and alcoholics. I am not a holy roly by no means but my heart goes out to them tonight and all nights. It is so sad. I am in the comfort of my own home with central heating and it makes you appreciate what you have.

Thank God for those charitable workers providing food and shelter when they can. Can't say much more than that. Just a brief thought in that I know Africa are in dilemmas but as my friend once said Conn - they asked me for a penny for Africa every week when I was 4 years in school and they are still asking and I am 70 so has nothing changed - mind you that is just an eg
Don't forget not everybody on the streets is as conne says, just like these

I give to the homeless. And if they appear to have an alcohol issue I am more inclined to give. I do not judge!
With regards to the third world yes they are still asking for money! Maybe it may not be sorted out by the next generation or the generation after that but I will continue to give. If I stopped then it would mean I have given up and I hope that never happens!
