Why Call Him God?
73 Answers
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?
So why call him God?
(Note to the pedantic: The last two lines have been added to the original written by Greek philosopher, Epicurus).

@Krom
This is how a conversation with goodlife, Krom.
Goodlife: Some "question" - really an excuse to print some biblical verse, contained within a homely little tale or parable, 99/100 copied and pasted, unattributed, from WT site, which will have unverifiable or unevidenced assertions.
Everyone else: Point out cut and paste. Point out the fact it is just an excuse to evangelise. Point out the logical flaws. Point out the lack of attribution and verification.
Goodlife ( And this is the key bit- the killer argument/ response/ debate from goodlife ) "You poor lot you learnt nothing from your past".
This is 99 of 100 "discussions" with goodlife....

LG, I think you are being a bit harsh on Goodlife, he obviously has poor English language skills since whenever he tries to use his own words they make even less sense than the ones he cuts and pastes. He obviously is aware of his limitations and is trying as best he can to work around them. He will in time hopefully begin to realise that what he cuts and pastes is incomprehensible gibberish in any language when he becomes more literate. So, well done to goodlife for trying so hard but he really should kick the @rse of whoever supplies him with all the sh1te he posts.
