Family and friends can also help. Having faith in God is another help. I have found, personally, that prayer helps to calm the mind as I am concentrating on something other than the situation I am in. Matthew 7 v 7 is good because there Jesus is telling us to "keep on asking" and Romans 12 v 12 says to "persevere in prayer".
My family is too, but difficult circumstances affect more people than ever before, distressing problems are not new to mankind. Let see if you can learn anything from some of God’s servants who in the past successfully faced life.
