Like many "prophesies" the believers go out of their way to fulfill them.
However since we are still here, surely it is obvious that the end has not come so I don't see how you can claim that it proved to be true.
Unfortunately many among the faithful are working hard to fulfill the Armageddon prophecy. Like Goodlife they eagerly anticipate the time when their god will massacre most of the people on Earth like he did in the time of Noah.
When the time comes they will take up the sword under the guidance of their god and start slaughtering in the grand tradition of Joshua and his followers.
Much of the violent action by radical Muslims is designed to provoke a war between Islam and the rest of us. They "know" they will win. So do the Christians and the Jews so they step up to doing exactly as the likes of Osama Bin Laden want.
Look how well it worked in the recent attack on the British soldier. Violent retribution against Muslims is exactly the result the perpetrators were aiming for. Anything to drive deeper division between the religious factions and bring Armageddon a step closer.
The Abrahamic faiths are all built on a foundation of bigoted prejudice and deity sanctioned violence while they pretend to be peaceful. While they persist the world will have no peace.

Even though God gives us such a clear warning of what he is going to do, the Bible states that the majority of mankind will ignore the warning. It tells us that most people will go about their daily affairs being concerned only about what they will eat and drink, who their children will marry, and other such normal things, true?
Yet many of the Bible prophesies, say they will mock and ridicule when told about the coming end of this wicked world. ( 2 Peter 3:3- 4) true?
You can see the disappearance of false religion, however, it will not result in a godless world.
Yes, prophesies: says My name will be great among the nations,’ Jehovah of armies has said. And who today are declaring that name worldwide.
Because is says everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved- Acts 2:21
The public’s reaction to these people for his name, and , those who confess that name,is a matter of life and death to them.
What is your reaction? sincere people are not like the majority but take warning seriously.
When that time comes, religion—true religion—will matter greatly, and time well, it is Jehovah who sets the time for all things. He has a set time to every purpose under the heaven.( Matt. 24:34)

Think that's called life! Where is your god when it's needed..how does it help in the distressing situations it causes?

daisya - far be it from me to presume, but I have not seen your name before, and wonder if you are a new member? If so, a warm welcome.
goodlife is a regular poster on here, and his posts follow a sety pattern. He sets forward a premise based on the absence of belief in God, and backs it with vast tracts cut and pasted from his Jehovah's Wtinesses publications.
People post debate and discuss the issue, followed by more posts from goodlife wich ignore the debate, and simply do more of the same.
That explains my response - which may appear flippant and brusque, but I and others have put up with this for months now, and by degrees, we are withdrawing from debating with goodlife simply because he refuses to engage with anyone in any meaningful exchange.
Just so you know.
Best always, A-H

Jesus said to Satan three times saying it written, to what had been written? Matt 4:1-10 Well is that’s your understanding......And you hear people say that the Bible is a myth, and yet you say I backs it with vast cut and pasted from his Jehovah's Witnesses publications, so why is written then.
Jesus knew that the Devil did not have mankind’s best interests at heart. He described Satan as a murderer and as the father of lies and of all that is false.
Again what is your reaction? sincere people are not like the majority but take warning seriously.
So in order to help people make an informed decision about rulership, Jesus commissioned his disciples to preach the “good news of the kingdom . . . in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations” before the end of the present system comes. (Matthew 24:14)
Who today are known worldwide for preaching God’s Kingdom? Only Jehovah’s Witnesses are. In fact, has long is carried on its front cover the words “Announcing Jehovah’s Kingdom.
Today, some in over 239 lands are helping people to gain an accurate knowledge of that Kingdom, with 700 a day being baptized, so is good job Jehovah day has not come yet.
