An ex-Jehovah’s Witness on her time as an evangelist. I wonder if the prospect of Armageddon, when, according to Jehovah’s Witnesses, only they will be saved, caused her to change her mind?

(The video is very short – only about a minute).

Perhaps she just up one morning and realised that this was all so much nonsense ? Perhaps she had a conversion on the road to Damascus. ( ! )

Her mistake was opening the door to those two women in the first place.

I wish she'd told us why she left.
I never thought goodlife was a woman!

Oh no, hang on, he still thinks all this is real doesn't he ....

Although, this lady says, if she had known then what she knows now ... I wonder what she 'knows now' that she didn't know then, and what changed her view?
Question Author
Exactly.
V. interesting. As you say, it would be interesting to know what prompted her rejection of the JW credo. Has she found another religion? Left religion altogether? If so, was it a blinding flash of light, a gradual realisation, or the doorstep rejection? Was it an event, or family and friends?

So quite a frustrating video in its own way - raises more questions than answers :)

You're right, LG, it is a frustrating video - but it seemed to me that the prospect of the result of Armageddon with all those people doomed, was the deciding factor. Rather more 'Christian' than Jehovah's Witnesses, I thought.
Thanks for the video, though I too would want to hear more.
Well, all I can say is that it proves JWs are not a cult, otherwise she would not have been able to leave. We all have free will and it is up to the individual whether to serve God according to his standards, or choose to go their own way. Simple!

Goodlife, //Well, all I can say is that it proves JWs are not a cult,//

You sound quite relieved! I wonder if JWs still talk to her?
God's way or the highway Goodlife?
So I see what road you are you on.( Matt 7:14)
Me too! (A.H. 09:16).
