THE BIBLE SAYS: God said: “I take delight, not in the death of the wicked one, but in that someone wicked turns back from his way and actually keeps living.” (Ezekiel 33:11)
Well it shows that people don’t know their Bible.

//..Noami so you do be believe the Bible, or is it you believe bits what you want to...\\
GL I'm amazed that you expect to get reasonable answers from people when you start slinging mud yourself from almost the get go. I really don't know what you are trying to get out of your posts but it certainly isn't peace and harmony.
Exactly what are you trying to achieve?

She just wants us to argue about religion....that is all. Ignore her and she will go away for a few weeks, just like the JW's that infest my housing estate every Saturday morning. But getting rid of JWs for good is very difficult, worse than trying to get rid of nits, and you can't get anything from the Chemist to help you !
Damn right he is..... he hasn't banned football yet... ;0)
To be blunt, I got quite a chuickle reading this thread, I do like to pop in here every now and again largely for comedic value rather than anything spiritual, there's always someone trying to foment some kind of fundamentalist nonsense or other.
Is god cruel??? Does god exist to be cruel or are the people who used "god and his other sects idols" to create spheres of power to gain wealth create this medium of cruelty.....

Mikey, I think Goodlife is a bloke.
Goodlife, I’m very well aware that the name ‘Easter’ is of pagan origin, but that’s not what I asked. The reason I’ve asked you several times to tell me what happened at Easter is because despite your claims that the bible is consistent, I know it isn’t, and more to the point, you know it isn’t – which is why you avoid answering. You can’t even be honest with yourself, Goodlife, so how can you expect anyone else to take you seriously?
//But he knew that Abraham was a faithful man and that he had faith God would resurrect his son.//
Oh, come on, Goodlife! Abraham had faith that Isaac would be resurrected? Where on earth did you get that from? God didn’t ask Abraham politely to kill Isaac, he ‘commanded’ him to do it, and there was no mention of resurrection. You’re not just picking out the bits you like – you’re making them up as you go along – and you’re missing the point entirely into the bargain. This is the question that you need to think about. Why would a sane, compassionate, all-powerful, entity (which if you know your bible you’ll know God wasn’t) wilfully cause unnecessary suffering to any living creature?
//You do not know him [God] and with your attitude you never will!//
That’s good news. I happen to be rather selective about the company I keep.
