Why My Faith?

I consider my faith in the Bible and in Jesus Christ to be legitimate and based on evidence.
This is something I share with millions of other people.
However, on this site, there seems to be a total disregard for the sheer numbers of people, including scientists and scholars from all walks of life, who have found a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
The twin issues of First Cause, and Abiogenesis, demand answers, not forthcoming from atheists, who seem to begrudge a Christian explanation for our existence.
Given such a long list of believers from all walks of life, I find myself in quite good company.
Does this mean that all such believers are not as enlightened as you?
Or is there any possibility that you don't know it all?
Have you really no hope for the future? Your future?

Khandro, if Theland is intent on sharing his faith with the rest of us, which he seems to be, we’re entitled to ask to see the evidence upon which that faith is based. Without it there is no credibility.

Until he tells us what he's talking about we can't decide whether it's credible to us or not.

We all have our own personal model of the universe, some models are very intricate with all the parts fitting together closely, others are somewhat coarser grained with ill fitting parts and gaps where gods, devils, ghosts, UFOs and fairies can be fitted in without deranging the surrounding structure. When it comes down to it no two christians actually share exactly the same beliefs...indeed some have been known to come to blows over theological matters.
