Since man was allegedly made in the image of the Creator, it is reasonable to assume that God possesses a penis. However, since Jewish men are circumcised as a symbol of the covenant between God and Abraham, and there is no mention in the bible of that working both ways, it is also fair to assume that God’s penis remains intact. Interestingly, several...

Jordain, my post was rather tongue in cheek, but if we accept the story of the creation - Adam and Eve and all that - as it is generally taught (it's not what the bible actually says), to be pedantic, God made MAN in his image. Woman was created later and by a different process. The reason Jesus was circumcised was, indeed, because he was born a Jew, and Jews are circumcised for the reason I gave in my initial post. I don’t believe that anyone really kept his foreskin either.

MallyJ, //it maybe that god gave people the wherewithall to protect their females from cancer//

I have to ask why God saw fit to create cancer at all?
^^or a foreskin if its so dangerous.
Our Local Synagogue has a vacancy for a 'circumcision assistant' the pay is £7.50 an hour plus tips!
That sounds a snip to me EDDIE...!!
It has been shown that it is on the fifth through the seventh days of the newborn male’s life that vitamin K is present in adequate quantities for blood clotting.
On the eighth day, the amount of prothrombin present is above one-hundred percent of normal (the only day in the male’s life in which this will be normally be the case). Therefore, the 8th day is the perfect day to do the circumcision … when the Vitamin K and prothrombin levels are at their peak.
Then the question has to be asked Patsy,,,,
Why the *** did God give the majority of the male population of Earth a foreskin for?
Good question naiilit. Perhaps in Bible it was a protection from the dry sandy conditions!
^^^^
Circumcision that is!
Patsy, Yes it is a good question, espesially since the majority of men dont (and never have) 'suffered' sandy conditions.
Nothing like a grain of sand under the forskin to find moses or jesus eh?
Yes but Im sure it could be painful:-)
Patsy at 20:40, how interesting. Do you have a link?
The USA instigated a research project to discover why the penis has a swelling on the end. It cost $1 million took 2 years and came to the conclusion it was to enhance the woman's pleasure during the sex act!
The USSR heard of this and started it's own project on the same subject. It cost 5 million Rubles , took 3 years and (of course) came to the opposite conclusion that it was to enhance the man's pleasure during sex.
The Irish heard of it and Murphy started his own project, it took 5 minutes cost 25p and came to the conclusion it was to stop your hand slipping off the end when you have a w****k
Why would any religion/belieif system want to chop of a part of a baby boys genitals?
The entire thing (judaism, islam, christianity) is a sick theology
Lol, eddie.

I agree, nailit. Wtw?
nailit, I told you why at 09:49.
I had a "girl" friend called Sandy many moons ago. She was very dry. Still I am of the protected species.(from sand flies) (^_*)
Thanks Mamyalynne. I'll look at that.
^^ That is virtually identical to the Islamic reasoning that the Koran is infallible and it's condemnation of any attempt to justify the 'Satanic Verses'
