God Is Or Is Not.

If God IS, then all of our big questions about origins, are answered.
If God IS NOT, then the alternative is purely materialistic.
What do you say?
Obviously there are atheists who believe the latter. So please guide me to the evidence for a purely materialistic origin, beginning of life, and evolution.
Please feel free to guide me towards any YouTube videos where atheistic experts can convince me that a purely materialistic scenario is the only option.
I am eager to understand the atheist mindset.

Theland, if believers must adopt a prayerful attitude in order that all is revealed to them, it follows that those relying upon plain common sense will find the content questionable.
//So read it [the Bible] cover to cover and you will understand it?//
No one suggested that but failing to read it cover to cover means that you’re ignorant of much of its content. It’s quite clear that you have never encountered anything in the bible that rationality has obliged you to question and dispute - honestly.

Naomi, I fully expect questions, and welcome them as long as they are not put like an interrogation and barbed with aggressive comments.
But to your main point. Yes, over the years I have questioned stuff in the bible that have puzzled me, and some ABers have pointed things out for me, that sent me off on a research mission to resolve the issue.
As long as folk don't try to get inside my head and then misread me, I am happy to discuss.

Theland, I watched as much as I could stand of your video. Yes, the Jews were scattered but they were never ‘lost’ as the presenter, Jeremy Gimpel, claims. Ken Spiro gave you the answer – the same answer I gave you. “They remained a people, not only in faith and religion, but as a family”. That’s why the Jews returned to Israel. There’s nothing mystical about it. Take your own advice and watch it with an open mind. All will become clear.
Naomi - Yes there have been things that not only caused me to question the bible, but shocked me and left me decidedly uncomfortable.
I put my trust in the hope that my doubts would be answered, and eventually, with the aid of historians, my doubts were resolved.
This situation still prevails and there are passages that still puzzle me and make me uncomfortable, but learning more and more takes time, and I trust that eventually I will understand.
It is a never ending journey.
