Dr Thaxton most certainly is an expert I his field, but I'm afraid creationism is far from scientific. I certainly don't begrudge you or him your beliefs, but its a leap of faith too far for me.
Mozz - Brief History ....... I enjoyed the book. Great science written for dummies like me.
But he left his area of expertise when he began to speculate and decided that as long as there was a law of gravity the universe would create itself.
I found that breathtaking.
As for my genesis, I'd refer you to my parents. Unfortunately they don't say much of anything anymore these days. Perhaps you might look them up should you end up where they said the were going . . . back when they were still speaking to me.

As Jimmy Carr ceaselessly reminds us on Cats Does Countdown, the delectable Ms. Riley did not cover herself with glory during her tenure on Strictly - although she did bag a life partner from the experience.
Would her lack of twinkling toes detract in any way from her cosmic appeal as a woman of epic attraction in my eyes?
Until you can explain how the most complex thing in the whole universe just happened to always exist without any origin you won't have any plausible explanation for where we came from.
Science tells us the Universe began with a single pixel of pure amorphous energy. Everything we see today can be derived from that beginning without the need for any conscious creativity.
Not a great deal of either actually Theland. I reckon the prospect of heaven appeals all the more to those who view their time on Earth as nothing more then a test of their endurance or a dress rehearsal for the afterlife.
You might find it interesting Theland, if not peculiar, that of all those I've encountered here in AB land ideologically you most resemble my father, (Lord have mercy) albeit he was of the previous generation.

Perhaps 'God' originated in that way - and then put his hand to creation. What say you, Theland?
