I don't know how many more times I am going to have to repeat myself in order for you to understand, but I will try yet again -
Atheists don't bother 'comforting themselves' about anything to do with God, they don't care!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
// You haven't looked hard enough. //
Wrong, we are not looking at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
// Enjoy this life. //Thanks, we will.
// It is all you have got. //
Not according to your God it's not. According to you, as good people, we will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, and we are right and you are wrong, none of us will know anyway, so it's win win for us - without all the miserable hand-wringing you do on a daily basis on here.

The creative agent, for want of a better term, is 'uncertainty' that ensures anything that can happen inevitably will. Life is what occurs when that which is created through uncertainty is modified through stars and their effect into elements that eventually get organised into self replicating units. Evolution is inevitable since after things self replicate, with flaws, only those fittest to survive will do so and be able to create more of itself.
