I guess I am too long in the tooth to embrace this brave new world.
Morning Bobbie.
Its a load of tits.
Morning Sparklykid and Mrs cakes
I am so fed up with all this pandering to trans what evers etc .women have periods men don't .
I can't see what all the fuss is about. Do women need the Venus sign on a product to remind them they are women? Maybe the trans gender lot are upset because they realise that however much they insist they are NOT female, if they menstruate then they jolly well are!

Calvin Kline underpants for men next, watch this space.
Well Volvo cars have the male symbol as their logo and, I must say, it's a bit of a bind having to remove the radiator grill every time my wife drives it.
Urghhh who cares if they removed the Venus symbol?? Feminists should be fighting for equal rights not crying about the fact they';re making something less specific to a certain gender!!

Feminists my ***
Not quite bhg, but never mind.

Re the Venus logo, I really can't get irritated about it one way or the other.
Mamy - from your link:

// Because it also symbolised the Roman god of warfare, Mars, and the masculine gender //
bhg is correct, the symbol used by Volvo is the chemical symbol for iron, also the symbol for mars the God of war and it was first used to denote the male sex by Carl Linnaeus in 1751.
Apologies.

No problem, Mamy.
Calvin Klein underpants are supposed to be very comfy and they do ladies underwear too.
yes Mamy, but how long before the gender benders decide under wear should be non gender specific?
I have known women buy men's boxer shorts as they say they are comfortable , and do know some straight men who have worn women's underwear (for non sexual reasons!) so maybe it IS time to stop defining clothes and products by gender.
"yes Mamy, but how long before the gender benders decide under wear should be non gender specific?
"

It will never happen, because men can't fit into womens pants, it's a different shape and fit. Companies won't pander to the minotires screaming from the rooftops because they know the rest of the people would never buy non gender specific pants simply because they wouldn't be comfortable for everyone.
It doesn't matter to me what they call em and I certainly never read my sanitary products either.
I think people who are overly concerned about such specific details should maybe reconsider what's important in life.
Men can fit into women's pants spath. Some Jockeys (those that ride horses not the actual pants) wear women's pants to hold everything up and in, and I know men who wear ladies tights under their joddies in the winter to keep warm!
