Reactions To My Questions.

When I ask a question, with past experience, I fully expect comments like the following:-

"Yawn."

"Here we go again."

"You've been told before."

"This is not a cinema."

"Bored already."

"Chapter and verse."

"God goggles."

And so it goes on, you know the rest.
This shuts me down, and that is sad.
What is your opinion?

well you basically have only a few questions that you word in different ways. Usually one of these a) How can you not believe in God?
b) There are things that science can't explain so there must be a god.
c) I believe in god you are mad if you don't
d) given b) please start believing in god.
a to d above are the underlying meaning, not the actual text, that is often lengthy and subtle.

Theland. Be more open and understanding to those with a different opinion to yourself. If someone isn't a believer, don't attack them with bible prose or scripture. We don't want to be converted. Also, stop being so damn abusive to people of other faiths. Not everybody has to agree with you.

Agreed, but not in a derogatory sense. Disagree by all means, but we're grown-up here (mostly), let's keep it friendly.

Theland, there are people here who know the bible a damn site better than you do (and yes, that does include me) and have as such, come to a completely different conclusion from yourself. That doesn't make us right and you wrong or vice versa. However, when trying to have a rational debate with you, to be told ''you don't know your Bible'' just comes across as laughable when its patently false. And many of the videos that you post, are old hat. A lot of the biblical apologists that you link to, I have come across many, many times and are often easily refuted.
No one is trying to shut you down...you do that with your own insults towards non believers...but trying to have a debate/conversation with you is like trying to nail custard to the wall when you ignore valid questions put to you and you either a)completely ignore it or b) link to a hour long vid that you know no one is going to view when all they want is a reply from YOURSELF and what YOU think.
