I mean, what's he ever done for you? (apart from leaving you puzzled about everything by refusing to give you a straight answer). And (heaven forbid) what if he is a woman, or black, or lesbian or gay, or a quinsexual thiborg from the planet Antikriste? Open your mind to possibilities. Best wishes (and I mean that - I don't want to do anything but expand your consciousness.)
By all means Atheist, continue.
Just use simple logic for starters.
How do you explain everything, from within everything?
(Materialist naturalism that is.)
God is Spirit.
You are not a body with a spirit, you are a spirit with a body.
How can you see if your eyes are blinded?
How can you experience God if your spirit is blinded?
Its that simple.

You’re right only in one respect, Theland. I have made up my mind about the distinct improbability that your God who, under the slightest scrutiny, falls at practically the first hurdle, created the universe - but I don’t come here for amusement. There’s nothing humorous in watching frightened people obsessed with ancient superstition predicting doom to humanity.
// Just use simple logic for starters.//
Logically it’s difficult to take the 'simple logic' argument seriously when this planet is awash with creation myths from all corners of the globe. In the absence of evidence for the reliability of any of them simple logic dictates that any - or none - are just as worthy of consideration as the one you promote. That’s simple logic.
Incidentally, as far as I’m aware it isn’t a pre-requisite of this section that contributors must be seeking God.

Who are the frightened people?
Roman Catholics maybe, but not Christians.
The Cause / Creators / Reason, call Him, It, what you will, but outside of the box, is a fact.
If not, where is the reason, cause etc found?
I call Him God.
Your thinking is based on nothing, and you never cite science to support your daft ideas.

Theland, I suspect the only reason Roman Catholics here don’t take you to task for insulting them and their religion is because they can’t be bothered with your self-centred nonsense. The Roman church is the largest Christian sect on earth. Without it your version of Christianity wouldn’t exist.
As for spirituality, you don’t know the meaning of the word and you certainly do not have a monopoly on it - and neither does your God. You denigrate not only atheists, many of whom through their innate altruism work for the good of others throughout the world, but the people of the Eastern Religions - far older than Christianity - together with indigenous Americans, indigenous Australians, and those of the Far East and Africa who have no faith in Christianity. Your arrogance, like your religion, defies all sense of reason.

I'll try to deal with your post point by point.
I have no problem with people from various religions or none.
My father was RC, as is my son in law and brother in law.
I grew up in Kirkdale in Liverpool, in the RC parish of St Johns, one of the largest RC parishes in Liverpool, in a largely RC community, where most of my friends and neighbours were RC.
My affection for them all remains.
Please don't twist things to make me out as a religious bigot.
I am not, even if doing so suits your purposes through lack of knowledge.
You seem to fool folk on here quite well and quite often, but you don't fool me.
My issue is with the teaching of the RC church, but you know that already.
Papal infallibility?
Celibacy?
Confession?
Transubstantiation?
Mass?
Graven images?
Revised ten commandments?
And these are just a few, there are many more.
The fact that the Roman church once put the bible on its list of banned books, and only priests could interpret the scriptures, to keep the people in ignorance, are more reasons to be wary of the Vatican.
True Christianity owes nothing to Rome, our bible is translated from the Hebrew Masoretic and Greek texts, and God cares for His Word, and needs the hand of no apostate church to preserve it.
Regarding the wonderful philanthropy and altruism of atheists and people of all religions and none, I applaud them, and many would put Christians to shame by their selflessness.
So what is your problem?
Why smear me with lies and innuendo?
