Atheists, or rather Hatetheists, refuse to recognise thedd signs of the times, which are comprehensively described in the bible, which is accurate.
Stubbornness prevents the Hatetheists from recognising the truth.
Covid is but one aspect, but is like the first domino to fall, the rest will crash soon.
You can check what the bible says yourself, and compare it to contemporary events.
Time is getting short, things will never be the same again.

The congruence you refer to is either because the bible is indeed predicting what will happen - which you believe, or it is a set of circumstances twisted almost beyond meaning in order to shoehorn them into being provided as 'evidence' that the end of the word is near - which is my belief.

As always, neither of us knows - but only you feel the need to get het up and nasty about it - again.

Presumably you are referencing the mark of the beast in Revelation 13?
The entire book of Revelation is so heavily symbolic. And symbolic of the Roman Empire at the time at that...Dragons, Beasts rising from the Earth, Lampstands, Creatures with many eyes and heads, Horsemen with plagues etc.
And yet one single verse (the mark of the beast) is considered literal? We might well be headed towards a cashless society but the bible didnt predict it.

The Pope is continuing with his ecumenical initiative, proclaiming, ''Peace,'' rather than Jesus Christ.
A worldwide financial crash is just around the corner.
Wildfires, pollution and extinction of biodiversity are widespread.
The murder of the unborn gathers apace.
Hostility towards God, and God driven out of the public arena.
City after city witnessing violence on a grand scale, wars and conflict all over the world escalating.
Crime and drug abuse, the breakdown of the traditional family, absent fathers, ghettos, political correctness, intersectionality, LBGTQXYZ plus, as immorality becomes normalised.
This is not an exhaustive list, just a flavour. A bitter flavour.
