Jesus foreknew that the world would become filled with so call professed Christians who would draw near to God with their mouths but whose hearts would be far removed from him, he said: “When the Son of man arrives, will he really find this faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:1:8)

The answer was no. Obviously.
>>> What Is Happening To Faith?

Hopefully it's being mocked, vilified and destroyed, as it surely must be in any rational society.
Gooflife, //When the Son of man arrives...//

If that ever comes to pass he won't recognise you - or your religion.
I always preferred Listen Without Prejudice. Faith was just too poppy for me.
You're misreading Luke and, in any case, what's the damn question?
goodlife - why do you do this?

You cut and paste a biblical passage to be read by people who are absolutely not interested in your version of God, or what you think about him - or us.

Why do you do it?
why do you do it
because I wish to be heard - see Luke 18 - 1-8

Luke 18 vv 1 to 8 is far too long only for - will their be faith on earth

It involved the parable of the widow who wished to heard by the judge. and this is the surprising finish - "will there be faith?"

and abuts another ( parable ) the pharisee and the tax collector who both go into the temple to pray

Re Luke 18 v 1=8
So what was the point of the illustration? You missed the point that the widow wanted justice to be done. Are you seeing justice being done today? Or do you bury your head in the sand and take no note of what's going on around the world?
However, when Jesus comes he will see to it that justice is done on the earth as it is totally impossible for man to bring about true justice and peace.

Naomi @ as usual you jump to conclusions. God will recognise his people regardless as to what you think. Everything he has ever said has come true - even you are fulfilling prophecy!
alleluia!
Goodlife, would he recognise good people- or only those who worship him?

I strongly suspect I am one, but if he's there, I fully expect him to forgive me for not clicking in in time.
goodlife - // Naomi @ as usual you jump to conclusions. //

And as usual, you avoid awkward questions.
Goodlife, //God will recognise his people...//

One reason he wouldn't recognise you. I won't explain that... you knowing the bible so well.
Goodlife, I am still without the courtesy of a reply - why do you do this?
We are not born with faith. This is something that is acquired over time. The dictionary definition of faith is "complete trust or confidence in someone or something." When we are young we base our faith on our parents and/or teachers. Then as we grow older and acquire more knowledge we realise that our parents and teachers were not always right. So if someone wants to have faith, we have to seek it from a higher authority. And for it to be unshakeable, it has to be from a source other than human.
It should not surprise us then that we are bombarded by propaganda from Satan and his demons, which has caused millions to lose their faith in God.
Idiosyncrasy, I am not aware of ever having been 'bombarded with propaganda from Satan and his demons'. What is your statement based on?
I think christians are d****d lucky to have been born in a christian country on the planet earth, otherwise they'd never have had the chance to go to heaven. I hope they feel sorry for all the other poor saps who will miss out.
