The Jews In Prophecy.
242 Answers
The bible explains Gods dealings with the Jews from their father Abraham right up to the present day.
Whether they like it or not that are Gods witness to the world.
Searching the scriptures reveals the truth or falsity of the prophecies concerning the Jews.
This is something lost on the mainstream churches.
If you doubt this will you check the evidence for yourself?

Do you know you are fulfilling prophecy? //
It really is a fine example of just how insular you are, and just how much to fail to understand even the basic reasons why people take issue with you the way they do - that you imagine for a nanosecond that I am remotely interested in your 'prophesies' and whether or not I fulfil them.
// Vehementally attacking me for quoting Gods word is in keeping with the worldwide attacks on Christians as the world rejects the message of Jesus Christ. Something Jesus said would happen, and it has. //
Don't flatter yourself.
I don't 'attack you' because you quote God's word, I take issue with your threats, your arrogance, your refusal to debate properly, your bouts of self-pity, and your nasty side which shows far more often than it should for the Christian you claim to be.
// The Truth is an irritant to unbelievers //.
No, Theland, it's not - it's people like you who are an irritant.

Crikey, I wondered why my ears were burning. Still, as Oscar Wilde said, 'There is only one thing worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about'.

You may request a reference to support my posts at any time…. but you won’t for obvious reasons.
//I hope other ABers see my point and support me.//
Ahhh, Theland needs endorsement - and sure enough his wish has come true. The cavalry has arrived in the shape of ….drum roll .....Peter Pedant….:o)))
You may be ingoring me, Theland, but rest assured I won’t ignore you. ;o)

//you must be familiar with the book of Daniel.
I am always eager to learn so would appreciate your thoughts on it//
Ive probably read it more times than you've said hallelujah!!
Its Jewish mythology. Reinterpreted in the new testament (Revelation) as an End Time prophecy.
It didn't and won't happen.
Book of Daniel was written many years later than suppossed events anyway.

Oh dear Nailit, you are wrong.
The book of Daniel can be accurately dated, and Jewish history shows that the events foretold took place a long time later.
Strange how you omit the most striking aspects of Daniel. Not a mention from you. Which leads me to suggest you are either bluffing or it all went over your head and you understood nothing.

From Wiki but feel free to provide contradictory evidence.
'The crisis which the author of Daniel addresses is the defilement of the altar in Jerusalem in 167 BCE (first introduced in chapter 8:11): the daily offering which used to take place twice a day, at morning and evening, stopped, and the phrase "evenings and mornings" recurs through the following chapters as a reminder of the missed sacrifices. But whereas the events leading up to the sacking of the Temple in 167 BCE and the immediate aftermath are remarkably accurate, the predicted war between the Syrians and the Egyptians (11:40–43) never took place, and the prophecy that Antiochus would die in Palestine (11:44–45) was inaccurate (he died in Persia). The obvious conclusion is that the account must have been completed near the end of the reign of Antiochus but before his death in December 164 BCE, or at least before news of it reached Jerusalem, and the consensus of modern scholarship is accordingly that the book dates to the period 167–163 BCE.'
