I've Been To Church Today.

Having been disappointed in the past from unbiblical teaching from the Church Of England and a Gospel Hall, my sins have been weighing heavy on me lately, and I felt the need for Christian community.
So, today I attended a local Evangelical church.
I enjoyed it and was made very welcome.
This could be my spiritual home for the future.
Do any of you have any thoughts on Evangelical churches?

Ive got evangelical friends
I WAS an evangelical...

So I can understand the mindset.
In real life, its never a problem. The occasional discussion here and there, as you would about covid, the economy or Tesco baked beans v Asda baked beans.

Any evangelical friends/associates/work-mates that I have,
generally dont wish to answer my questions or rebuttals.
We get on fine!

Tried it once at work,
The concept of hell came up during a dinner break.
Asked how they all felt about loved ones burning in hell while they are all preaching Gods love etc.
Wasnt soon before someone was asking where the tomato sauce was for the chips or where a certain amount of paperwork was or where a certain center order was.
ANYTHING, to avoid the question...

The fact remians that for every one post in support of the fervents on hjere, there are probably a couple of hundred shooting them down - and you are front and centre there.
