atheists have their own Theory .Which is their god .But he does not give any good explanation about their Theory.
Why do many people think the Many Bible is amiss or just a book of stories.
Many people believe in a Supreme being but they can't believe in a god.???
Belief in a Creator Because Bible prophecies have been so exact, critics have branded them as deceptions, that is, history written after the fact and disguised as prophecy. But how can one rationally assert that Jewish priests would dare to invent a prophecy? And why would they invent prophecies that contained the hardest diatribes imaginable against themselves? (Isaiah 56:10, 11; Jeremiah 8:10; Zephaniah 3:4) In addition, how could an entire literate nation, trained and educated with the Bible as its sacred text, be taken in by such a hoax?—Deuteronomy 6:4-9.

Well, I've never known such rubbish. You call yourselves intelligent! There's no one here. Maybe Khandro but even he/she is limited to the Creator.

Atheists don't have Gods.

//Bible prophecies have been so exact//

No they haven't.
If you asked one question at a time you might get a better response. Possibly.
I always get the impression that Locust needs the endorsement of others in order to convince himself.
I always get the impression that Locust is searching for the impossible.
"If you asked one question at a time you might get a better response"

Rather than a veritable plague of Locusts?
Indeed
Locust, if you are as sure of your faith as you appear, why are you constantly on here seeking validation from complete strangers, when the majority of responses you get don't agree with you?
God, supreme being. Semantics.

No religion is likely to have much right. Consider all the defunct ones from the past that were fervently believed in at the time. Bound to be the same for today's set of beliefs.

Bible prophecies have no evidence of being exact. Plenty of evidence of matching similar situations in order to claim an unjustified success though; as with all prophecies.
Hello! I wish you all a happy day. If you have any questions about religion or you want to know why you were created and what is the meaning of your life..search on YouTube for "Zakir Naik" or you can write your question and add "from an Islamic perspective" next to your question. You will get a lot of logical answers for your questions.
I believe in a power greater than ourselves……. I’ve left space for the witty quips.

Actually, what we'll get is the opinion of someone else just like the rest of us, who puts his trousers on one leg at a time, like everyone else.

The only difference is, he thinks he has found 'The Answers', when all he has is a doctrine that makes him comfortable.

That makes him exactly the same as any of the fervents who come on here day in day out spouting yards of biblical quotes and promising damnation to anyone who doesn't think like they do.

So I'll pass on your guy, but thanks for the offer anyway.
17.33. Zakir Naik is not someone I would recommend.
Thank you someonewho.... but I don't want 'logical answers' to religious questions, religion isn't based on logic.

Logic is the bread & meat of atheists who hold a scientific world view that everything that happens is in accordance with the laws of nature, and those laws are contingent, neither needing nor getting further explanation.

The religious mind seeks further, and asks "to what end, & for what reason do we live in this law-governed world?"
I do believe there's a UNIVERSAL (take a breath) conscience, it's bloomin' religions I have trouble with, so full of BS with no understanding.
What would be so scary about a world where people live with the certainty that God or gods do not exist.... We would have to take responsibility for our own actions. Do the right things not because we are told by some ancient rule structure but because they are right. Care for this world because there won't be another one waiting for us, live this life because it is our only one...
Khandro.
I don't believe in 'Laws of Nature'. I think the word 'laws' is not correct. 'Laws' implies a lawgiver. All that scientists do is observe the world and try to figure out ways of grasping what is going on out there, and perhaps how to forecast what might happen next.
You say "The religious mind seeks further, and asks "to what end, & for what reason do we live in this law-governed world?"
Surely if you area asking for a reason, you are acknowledging the existence of reason, and you are also taking the existence of 'laws' as a self-evident fact.
// Does God Exist //

He does if you want him to, just ask anyone who wants him to, he really is that magic!!
Atheist; // you are also taking the existence of 'laws' [of nature] as a self-evident fact.//

Of course I am, & within the confines of contemporary scientific knowledge they are.

For example the 'law of Gravity' is contingent because it depends on physical mass, remove that & there is no gravity, (that's why astronauts in space float about).

But that has nothing to do with the human condition & religion, the key to which, God is not understood through purely metaphysical speculation & rationality alone, but also by communion with our fellow human beings, something to which your materialistic outlook must find incomprehensible.

All religions encompass three basic components; the teacher, the teaching and the religious community.

// communion with our fellow human beings //

Also depends on mass then.
Religions are guaranteed to have pretty much everything wrong because they refuse to reconsider anything in the light of new evidence.

Most religions are little more than the musings of ancient ignorant misogynists who were too stupid to succeed at herding goats.
