Since my teeenage years...

When I became a christan and then studied the bible in depth.

I then became a non believer in religion but thought that there MAY be something to it

Eventually began exporing religion and the occult.

Got heavelly involved in the occult....

(realized that it was all about belief)

(to the point of been the token sceptic of a paranormal research team)

and then fobbed of by everyone, lol.

The 'Satanic Panic' of the 80's springs to mind.

Incidently, this was the time period that I was a teenage christian and swallowed it all hook line and sinker.

It all turned out to be a croc of carp...

And all instigated by christians with an agenda,

fiveleaves, "Involvement in freemasonry, for one example, can bring dangerous and enduring curses not only on yourself, but also on your children and even down the generations.|"

Care to provide some proof of this statement?

I think fiveleaves has been reading too much Dan Brown.

Vulcan 42 "Blessing or Curse, you can choose" by Derek Prince is a good introduction to the subject. It covers freemasonry, but there are other authors who tackle the dangers of freemasonry is greater depth.

Nailit - Lavey, Crowley, just get rid of it. Really not doing you any favours having that stuff in your home, even if you have no intention of reading it again

Ridiculous 'reasoning'. It's not even a question.

Nailedit, can I ask if I have this correct?

You feel like there must be something out there that you would understand and thrive by, but up to now, you haven't found it.

You think that people are influenced by their beliefs but up to now, you haven't found anything to believe in.

I'm really interested to know if I have this right so hope you will reply.

I also have at least a dozen different translations of the Bible plus apologetic literature and other christian writings including the early church fathers such as Augustine etc.

Also have the Bhagavad Gita, Koran, Book of Mormon, etc.

Should I get rid of those as well?

Same old predictable responses from the same old people to a bloody assinine

Question Author

Barsel,

yes, more or less correct.

I have spent a lifetime looking into everything that I have been introduced to.

Everything from religion to the occult and paranormal etc.

Sorry, meant to conclude with 'moron'.

Nailedit, can I ask you why, what is it you are looking for?

Question Author

//Nailedit, can I ask you why, what is it you are looking for?//

Not looking for anything in particular Barsel...Just want to know if claims made hold up to evidence!

Ive always been questionitive and curious.

(And Iv'e always had an interest in the possability of other worldly phenomenon)

Perhaps the thing you are looking for might appear when you're not looking for it.

I understand some people feel they need something they believe in, and I do know some people like that, but sometimes there just isn't anything.

The most important person for you to believe in, is yourself.

Question Author

Barsel,

Just had a real 'thirst' over the decades to learn about religion/spiritualty/the occult/paranormal/esoteric/etc!

Anyway, best thing is...nobody fed the troll on this post.

What a muppet. A member for 3 weeks and he's trolling ABers of years standing 😂

Nailer, you've been looking for decades, found nothing, time to stop and let each of us go our own happy way religious or not.

Sorry, I don't believe he should stop looking Anne.

You never know, one day he might just find something and think, oh yeah, that makes sense.

No nailit, it's a site for you to be rude and angry to some abers and get away with no consequences.
