When the occupants of this American county realised what had happened and were being used as an experiment, they just congregated in the church and sang hymns.
The very fact that aliens took them must make them question the origins of their faith but from where did the aliens originate?
By the way, What's a Pastafarian? Is it a Vegetarian?

Well worth checking out for a very funny and well argued case for why Creationism belongs in RE classes, not science classes. Also, check the hate mail, which is screamingly funny and suggests that all Christians have difficulty with spelling. it's like a Mani convention.
I imagine that there will be less hysterical Christians who read that lot and drop down in the classic Plattoon pose, screaming, 'Nooooo!!!! You're making us look *sooooo* dumb...'

;-) The thing is that in order to make the point about Creationism effectively, you have to play along with the whole concept of FSM and that really infuriates the Christians because they know the Pastafarians don't actually believe it, and are only doing it to make a point, and they know it's made up, but they can't prove it, so you get much hilarity.
