I submitted serious question this afternoon. It took me ages to write as I explored the possibilties. It hasn't appeared. Is there a limit to the length of a question? If so, what is it?

(Answers some time within the next three weeks hopefully please).

Occasionally with a long Q the page doesn't always load correctly, so when you press Submit your post diappears, never to be seen again.

I lost about three long posts before I had the sense to write the original into Word, then Copy and Paste into AB.

Have a look in other categories, because as The Prophet says it could have been moved. Either way it's a pain, isn't it?
I write long posts in Word too - and then copy and paste. I learned to do that after being caught out a couple of times. At least that way, if your post goes pear-shaped, you still have the original to try again.
I think I'm going to learn something here!

Thanks everybody. Never thought of doing it in Word. Good idea.
