Since Naomi will not give me the ****ing key I have decided to follow Jesus and be a Christian just like Theland. I am ashamed of my past history here so I'm going to devote the time I used to spend on ab to reading the Bible. No question really because I no longer care about what people think. I'll get all my answers from God from now on thank you.

Oh, good grief. I've just popped in only to find that you lot are at it again, and I have lots and lots to digest (sorry Theland, poor turn of phrase to use to one trying to lose weight!). Can someone tell me which thread you're talking about where Legend is being obnoxious, Theland is trying to sort him out, and China has become sick of him?

Luna, do you believe this Esther person?

I'm having major problems with AB, and I can't get past page 1 of your link China. Nevertheless, I get the general drift, and I wonder why anyone bothers to respond to him. He seems a pretty sad character to me - and clearly has so much time to spare that he must be a very solitary person. Without meaning to be unkind - what a prawn!

Theland, from your description, I'm very definitely not a northerner. What about you, China?

As for the girlie with the hula hoop, I've always thought she must look more like China than me. Nothing like me!

Sorry Luna, but I think rather than trying to help others, they're helping themselves - and they're succeeding magnificently - by preying on the insecurities and the emotions of vulnerable people - just as religion does - and that's wicked! Of course you think it opens your mind - that's what it's meant to do - they wouldn't make any money otherwise. Whether what it opens your mind to is something genuine is another matter. It's nothing but crafty psychology - so do please be very aware.

Got to log out - AB is just too difficult at the moment. I type, but the words don't appear, and then the whole thing hangs, so I'm doing everything in a Word document and copying and pasting - soooo frustrating! It's been like this since yesterday. I don't think there's anything wrong with my computer - it's only AB I'm having problems with. Hopefully I'll be here tomorrow, but if I'm not, you'll know why.

By the way, where are you mibs? You're awfully quiet lately. Are you bored with this monster you've created? Bit like God really - I reckon he's bored with the monster he created. That's why he's causing such havoc!

Now there's a thought to go to bed with. (Personally, I'd rather go to bed with George Clooney, but, hey! Thoughts of this imaginary God will have to do. We can't have everything!!).

Night everyone, sleep
oops - my end has been cut off. (How painful!!)

Should have read, night everyone, sleep tight. x

Regarding the Hicks teachings, I have been browsing the internet and found opinions from sites that are kosher as far as I'm concerned.
The teachings fall into two categories depending on the student, (novice, disciple, patsy etc). First it is useless twaddle, or second, dangerous twaddle.
The same goes for Deepack Chopra.
All of these deceptions are horses from the same stable, and if you ride any one of them, they'll take you straight to hell.
Now, O.K. you might think that is a bit strong, but let me expand on it.
(continued)
In a nutshell, (not much of an expansion is it? But I don't want to bore you ..... ), the teachings of these people are simply New Age, a different facet of the same delusional jewel, that sparkles in the eyes of the beholder, who thinks something new has been found.
There is nothing new under the sun.
These teachings and philosophies are demoniacally inspired, and serve to guide their adherents away from the truth, which is the one true living God, as revealed through His Son, Jesus Christ.
You cannot follow these dangerous teachings without a belief in a spiritual dimension, as otherwise, how would the teachings translate into everyday life?
They are not just simple psychology and to say that they are is to miss the very point of what is being so insidiously taught.
Maybe this is a bit heavy for the Sanctuary, and possibly a separate thread on page one might be in order, then Waldo will get another opportunity to kick me in the butt once again.
(I'm still smarting from my last kicking ......)
I'm sorry to say it Theland, but with your talk of their teachings being demonically inspired, you sound nuttier than they are. The truth is they are not demonically inspired - they're financially inspired. Like those who preach religion of any sort, they prey on the weak - and it makes me angry. You're an intelligent man, and yet you listen to others (who in reality know no more about a spiritual realm than you do), you take it all in, and now you're talking about demons and hell. Luna is an intelligent man, and yet he's being swayed by something that is clearly a ploy aimed at the vulnerable to make money. You speak of a delusional jewel, but what is your belief if not delusional - with the hope of acquiring a nice big sparkly gem at the end of it all? I don't doubt there's a spiritual facet to nature, but I don't know how it works and I wouldn't believe anyone who tells me they do.

Luna, you say you don't believe this person really talks to non-physical beings, so you know she's a fraud, and yet you still go along with it. Good grief! What is belief in any of this stuff doing to people's minds? Screwing them up, that's for sure! Do sort yourselves out, boys, please.

(Just out of interest, who are you listening to, Theland? Which church do you belong to?).
Question Author
In response to those concerned, my lack of participation is due to a need to tie up some loose ends with time drawing neigh to a close for completion. I have been reading the unfolding dramas (as witnessed by the stars) and have attempted a few responses but I haven't been able to bring them up to the standard I would like to maintain.

Please bare with me. Once the June 30th deadline has past I will not longer have this excuse for the need to focus my attention so fully elsewhere and should be able to give this thread and the goings on of its participants the same attention I have enjoyed in the past.

I would like to send out a special welcome to Luna's recent participation here and reassure him that those challenging his recent choices believe that they have his best interest at heart. I regret I am unable at this time to properly assess, evaluate and provide my own perceptions but I will submit that I do not sense any urgency to do so and that Luna seems to be excercising due caution in his exploration of alternatives although at this point I can only hope he will prove me to be correct in this presumption of innocence and that between the rest of you he is in good company.

I wish you all a pleasant summer!
Mibs, completion? You selling your house?

Well Naomi, at least I'm not shying away from being controversial. It gives something to tear into.

Inspired by money? Yes, the New Age movement, and most of the various religions are inspired, amongst other things, by the compulsion to make money, and provide a luxurious lifestyle for the gurus at the top.

Ordinary down to earth Christianity is not like that, nor can it be and still claim to be Christian.
Christs teachings were diametrically opposed to taking advantage of the poor and vulnerable, and it to His teaching we should adhere if we wish to be called Christian.
To believe in the spiritual realm and in God is to believe in right and wrong in absolute terms, not the relativism that is the hallmark of our present day world, and that means a belief in the spiritual manifestation of evil, which is Satan and his minions.
But Theland, your version of Christianity isn't simple - it's complex, threatening and frightening - and as much as you like to think it does, it can't possibly follow the teachings of Jesus. He was a Jew. St Paul is your leader.

I believe in right and wrong, but I don't credit God for the right, or blame the Devil for the wrong. Man is responsible for his own actions, and should take responsibility for his own actions. Anything else is a complete and utter cop out.

Lunar my love, if it's working for you then you carry on with it. You seem to me to be entering in to it all with your eyes wide open and if it makes you feel better then carry on.
OK Luna. I'll shut up about it.

Luna - I do believe there are only three GOLDEN RULES in the Sanctuary:-

1) Do not upset anybody.

2) Do not be upset by what anybody says.

3) Send money to Theland on a regular basis.

Good heavens, I've just drank a bottle of 13.5% South African Red with a good dilution of tonic, and resisted the twang of tobacco.

However, my eyelids are quite heavy, so you will have to talk amongst yourselves.

I actually went out on my bike earlier on, quite blowy, but did my duty .......
