Can Spirits chose who to be born to?.
22 Answers
I read an article in the paper, about a boy (American), who is supposed to be the reincarnation of a ww2 fighter pilot killed in the Battle of the Pacific,
In the article, he had said to his father, that he chose him to be his father, while a spirit..
If this can happen, and spirits have freedom of choice to chose, the how come so many children are born to already proved bad parents?.

I don't, and believe I can ever again, believe in anything supernatural, which is what my question encompassed, because true or not, the spernatural is being touched upon.
I won't elaborate, because then we'll be diversifying.

Hi Lonnie, last post as this thread is moving down! I don't know about the newborn babies being 'an empty book?' As there is growing evidence of genes predisposing our pesonalities, illnesses, characteristics etc. There was only an article recently on the 'God Gene'. But, I agree with you that parenting is a contributing factor.
It is a shame that eventually Man may discover that he is a 'slave' to his genes! But I think whatever you believe is your choice and as long as that choice is not detrimental to another, then why not believe what you want? Besides none of these abstract notions have been verified. Really enjoyed talking to you though, you gave me alot to think about.
