You see in ideal life marriage should have nothing to do with Class and other issues. It is a relation entirely based upon trust and love. And willingness to go through ups and downs of the life together. But as someone once said that things do not always go as we want or we would have liked. If someone is bringing these issues when things haven’t even started...
If you live in the UK it won't affect your child at all, except maybe from other traditional Indian people. No one in their right mind can possibly advise you whether to marry your boyfriend or not on this forum. It is your and his' decision in the end.
As you seem to have a hangup on this class distinction, you need to think hard and long before making a decision.

If someone is bringing these issues when things haven’t even started then one way it is good that you know what you are getting into. Otherwise if kept in dark, you never know where you would land.
But as Wildwood said that on this website you can only get one thing and that is OPINION. And more people you would ask more you would get yourself confused. So it is always a good idea to listen to your inner self.
Wish you all the best whichever way go.
Your question highlights the real life tragedy of such systems of scheduled discrimination. These are the laws of primitives that we as humanity must rise above.
I find it incredibly disturbing that those like you who dare to conflict with this amoral dogma risk their lives for their refusal to conform to mindless traditional "values".
