Seeing dead people in your dreams.

I had a dream the other night and in it was my cousin that passed away a few years back, the funny thing is everything was normal in the dream and it was only when I awoke that I obviously knew he was passed away. Why wasn't I aware that he was dead in the dream? Have any of you ever seen a passed one in a dream, Did you know they were really dead or was you like me unaware until you awoke? If you were aware that they were really dead, did you ask them questions, as in where are they now? I've never heard of anyone saying that they seen a dead loved one in a dream and that they talked to them, have you?

What about the evil spirits where is their abode and can they also talk and guide others on earth?

I would imagine so yes Micky, because my worthless evil father appeared in my dreams to me as well as my best friend who was taken suddenly through no fault of his own. If there is an afterlife I don't think it's one about retribution about what you did on earth, I'd like to think it's a place of healing where things improve for everyone.

Nox possibly, if there was an afterlife then surely the creator would have made sure that we couldn't be contacted as maybe the "dead" would be able to influence, lie to or scare the living?

I'm not an advocate of it but I'm told that the lower astral plane is the abode of the evil spirits. This is also the prime area for ouija board contact - hence the often unpredictable and occasionally disastrous results of using such a dangerous contraption.

Dreamt recently of a cousin who passed two years ago. We were in a bedroom which I didn't recognise. We sat opposite each other on twin beds. She was brushing her hair. I asked "Do you know where you are?" She said "Yes, of course I do." I asked "Are you happy?" She answered "Yes, I am". In the dream I was totally relaxed and not in the least surprised to see her. All seemed to be normal. When I awoke I was very consoled and felt comforted by what she said.

booldawg so evil spirits that may have been evil murderers/rapists etc.. on earth are "rewarded" by being able to carry on hellraising on earth via ouija boards moving things and can talk to the living but the good spirits cannot talk or move things?

I suppose I do believe it was the real person since I was very comforted by the dream and have often remembered it with pleasure since. I also recall that when she died I spoke TO her and asked her to send me a specific sign to let me know she was happy. I asked for someone to give me a gift of a plant, a cutting of a plant, or a flower. Maybe it was a coincidence but, on my return from her funeral Interflora delivered me a beautiful bunch of flowers.

i am not qualified to talk about evil spirits but even evil people will have souls that live on different planes to that of kind souls

Thanks danflo for bringing this to my attention, I didn't understand what he meant and his script seems to be out of a holy book of old and he doesn't seem to have answered any of my questions.

Dose this mean that If the dead person in the dream was moaning or if I was moaning?

You should read 'DMT - The Spirit Molecule' by Dr Rick Strassman, it will explain all the type of phenomena you are manifesting. I believe there may be some video about as well. Chirox just done some quick mini research and i must say it is interesting so our brains have tiny amounts of dmt, Have you actually read the book yourself?
